Happy Friday the 13th!

I now have a special place in my heart for Friday the 13th. Tag was born on Friday the 13th - 14 months ago today. He is getting to be so grown up so quick! Some of his newest accomplishments include:

• When you ask if he wants to eat, he will drop everything he is doing and walk into the kitchen and grab his high chair and wait for you to put him in.
• He LOVES to be outside and knows when you say the work "outside" to go to the back door. He also knows to go to the front door when you tell him it is time to go.
• He knows the word "ball" and can go get it when you ask him to. He loves playing with his big ball in the backyard and also really enjoys his racquetballs inside.
• He has learned how to climb on things (see picture below)
• He now has two molars in the top of his mouth
• He eats a lot more food - Goldfish, Teddy Grahams and Grapes are some of his favorites
• He is very good at drinking his milk from a cup with a straw
• He is very curious and will open any drawer or cabinet and empty the contents... but usually he will try and put some of the items back. He also loves to put things that he finds in the house into Mommy & Daddy's clothes hamper.
• If you put a hat on his head, he will take it off almost immediately, but if you ask him to put it back on his head he will put it on his head and try to get it on.
• He also knows that his shoes go on his feet. He likes to take them off and sincerely tries to put them back on.
• He likes to carry Maddie's toys around and if you tell him to give them to Maddie he will take them to her and try to shove them in her mouth. He also likes to give her hugs.
• He also puts himself to sleep every night without any fuss. We take him in his room and try to read him a book, but after a few pages he wants to be in his crib. He is usually asleep within 5-10 minutes without making any sounds. In the morning he has been waking up early, but he spends 30-45 playing in his crib and usually never cries. I try to go get him at the same time everyday.

So as you can see, Tag is a busy boy! He keeps us moving and we love every minute of it!

In the picture above, Tag pulled out this box at work today and then climbed on top. He got scared and was calling for me to come help him. He learned that it was OK and climbed on it more later and the day and was able to get off all by himself.
