Christmas 2008

Well, I can't believe that it is already 2009 and Tag is 4 days away from being 21 months old! It sure is crazy how time flies.

We had a great time during all of our Christmas and New Year's celebrations. Tag surprised us by really enjoying all of his presents and understanding that he needed to unwrap them. Of course he also helped others unwrap their presents as well. On Christmas Eve he even helped pass out all of the gifts. Cousin Erin is sure glad that her time as gift passer-outer has come to an end.

I was overwhelmed by how many cute pictures we had, so I have made a collage and will tell you a little about each picture. You can click on the collage to see it bigger. The pictures are in no particular order.

First Row from Left to Right:

The first picture is just a cute picture in front of the tree. This was the day of Tag's school program and he looked so cute. His performance was pretty cute too. No good pictures of that though. He ran in, sat down and starred at the side wall. Then once he spotted me and Gran he ran into the audience to watch the show. He may not have a future as a performer.

The second picture is of Tag playing with his drum in his cozy pj's that I won on a blog contest.

Next is Tag eating his 'Christmas Eve Dinner' of grapes and yogurt.

Lastly is Tag playing with his tool set from Giai the day after Christmas at B.J.'s family celebration in OKC.

Second Row from Left to Right:

The first picture of all 3 of us is the best family photo we got during the festivities. It is from Christmas morning at my parents house. We bribed Tag with some raisins.

Picture number two is Tag digging into his BIG stocking from Gran and Pops on Christmas morning.

The third picture is of Tag and Uncle Ray on Christmas Eve.

The excited Tag after he discovered a small rain stick in his stocking. Gran and Pops got it for him in Santa Fe.

Third Row from Left to Right:

Numero Uno is Tag wearing one of Uncle Doug's hats. He had so much fun dancing and trading hats with Uncle Doug. It was very entertaining!

The second picture is Tag enjoying his new shiny fire engine from Cousin Ben. It makes siren sounds and lights up!

Next up is a picture of Tag in front of the tree on Christmas morning at our house.

After all of the Christmas festivities were over I put all of Tag's presents under the tree to show-off all of his loot. He enjoyed inspecting it all again as well.

Fourth Row from Left to Right:

Picture one is of Tag's current favorite - hats. He enjoys wearing them and making everyone else wear them too!

Next is a picture of my cousin Darcie and her son Caden's visit. While they were in town, they came to play at our house. The boys had a very good time even though there is a 3 and a half year age difference. The funniest thing is when they made laps around the house, Caden on the police car and Tag on his plane. After all the playing we enjoyed a lunch at Taco Bueno.

The last picture is of Tag in his 'seat' from Aunt Pat & Uncle Doug. Tag thinks it is fun to sit and wear as a hat. He also uses it to carry toys from one room to another.

As you can see from all of the pictures we had a great time celebrating the holidays together this year.
