Cars and Boxs

Tag's very VERY favorite thing to do is play cars and boxs (blocks). He runs to his room and says "up, up, cars!" The cars he is referring to are my old matchbox cars and little people from when I was a kid. They have some small parts so we have always kept them up high on the shelf. Once the cars are down, he will immediately dump out the two bins of wood blocks. The blocks are Cousin Ben's from when he was a kid. Tag got them for Christmas from Aunt Lea & Uncle Ray. Onetime right after he got the blocks, B.J. built him a track for his cars. Now Tag thinks that the cars and blocks can only be played with together.

B.J. had built him some very impressive tracks and I don't do as well, so B.J. is the preferred play partner for this activity.

This video is pretty good too. I was gone for the evening and B.J. said that Tag was so into playing with the cars that he had time to go get the camera and shoot this video. Then of course at the very end Tag does his second favorite thing... knock down the blocks!

When Tag has visitors at the house, the first thing he does is take their hands, run to his room and say "up, up" so that he can show off his cars and blocks!
