A few weekends ago we went with some friends to the pumpkin patch. Tag had a great time! He wasn't so sure about sitting in the pumpkins, but we did manage to get one small smile out of him.

The best $4 spent was for the pony rides. Tag rode a horse named Cherokee. He did not want me to hold on to him at all. He had the biggest grin on his face from the moment he got in the saddle. He also enjoyed petting the horses mane.

Tag picked out two tiny pumpkins as well as a medium sized one for our porch. Within a few days of bringing our pumpkin home a critter turned it into a crazed jack-o-lantern. So... no more pumpkins for us. It was such a fun family outing and we really enjoyed spending with the F family. We also had a wonderful time eating at a Chicago style pizza place after the pumpkin patch!
