OSU Homecoming!

Last weekend was OSU Homecoming weekend. B.J. and I thought it would be fun to take Tag to Walk Arounds on Friday night. It turned out to be 'one of those days' where nothing seems to go right. We were late getting out of town and then about half way there the Jeep started acting up and the check engine light came on... basically it didn't want to be in 4th gear and when we got to town we realized it also didn't want to idle. We decided not to worry about the car and went to look at the house decorations. We saw just one before it was time to meet up with some of my pledge sisters. Tag sure enjoyed going up and down the steps at the Chi-O house. I tried to tell him that boys weren't allowed upstairs, but he didn't care. He and my friends daughter A must have gone up and down the stairs (all the way to the 3rd floor) at least 10 times. They sure were cute to watch!

After leaving the Chi-O house we headed to the Fiji house to look at their house decoration only to be caught in a standing room only crowd. Tag got scared and it was so dark and crowded that we had to get him out of the stroller and fold it up. Once we made it out of the crowd we decided we had had enough and headed back to the car. Tag ran almost the entire way across campus. What fun it was to seem him at our alma mater!

On Saturday we headed back to Stillwater (riding with my parents this time). We expected Tag to take a nap in the car... but no, he would have none of it. So we headed to the game minus a nap. Tag was excited to be there... until about half way through the first quarter when it was obvious that a nap was needed. I left the game with Tag. We got the stroller and went on a walk around campus. How nice it was to enjoy the beautiful day and enjoy the OSU campus with Tag. It didn't take long before he was asleep. Luckily for me they were showing the game in the Student Union. Tag got in about an hour nap before the football game announcers voice woke him up. We then put the stroller back in the car and headed for the game. We made it back for the last 6 minutes. Even though I didn't see much of the game it was a great day!

After the game we went back to Papa Bill's house. It was quite the family reunion and a very full house. Tag had fun running around with his other 2nd & 3rd cousins. The funniest part was when Tag came running in to me and Gran with a handful of toilet paper. Gran asked him to show her where he got it. He took her right to the bathroom where the toilet contained an entire roll of toilet paper. He was sure proud of himself! B.J. and I both thought that the other one was watching him. There was so many people that he escaped our view.

I think that Addie and Tag make a cute couple. ;) She sure did have fun playing with him!
