Laboring on Labor Day!

We made good use of our Labor Day. In the morning B.J. watched Tag so that I could go outside and paint the last set of french doors... a project started two summers ago. I managed to do one coat of paint, it will need another at some point, but it is so nice that they are no longer white.

In the afternoon I watched Tag so that B.J. could mow and work in the yard.

Tag enjoyed watching me paint out the window and his Daddy mowing from the porch. After watching him pull some weeds, he wanted to help. So Tag would pull some weeds (which is really grass) from the flower beds and then throw them in the trash. He would also get hand fulls of mulch too!

Check out the video of him helping. You can also hear him do his 'bark' because Maddie was at the door barking and when she barks, he usually joins in.

After our laboring we went over to Aunt Lea & Uncle Ray's for a fish fry. Tag was the life of the party and wore himself out playing with everyone! Uncle Ray let him play with a blue highlighter... which Tag used to highlight his hands, legs and with a little help from Uncle Ray, his nose! Even after his bath he is still a little smurf like! I have a picture of him... but you may have to enlarge the picture to really see the blue on his legs.

During his bath we also discovered a tick on his hip! We think it is an uninvited guest that came home with us from Duncan. It is gone now, so that is good!
