Last Saturday we took Tag to see Sesame Street Live at the BOK Center. We decided to take him as his early birthday present. We weren't too sure what he would think about it, but were hoping that he would love it. We got there early... because I thought the show started 30 minutes earlier than it actually did. To kill time we treated Tag to a snack of fries and fruit. Two of his very favorite things.
When the show got started... Tag just stared at the characters on the stage. He was in awe. The picture in the top right of the collage is of him in the first few moments. He only got scared and crawled into B.J.'s lap when Oscar the Grouch made his appearance, but then later was talking a lot about Oscar so I don't think he was really scared. He loved EVERY minute of the show. Towards then end he got hungry and finished off his fruit. You can see him stuffing his mouth in two of the pictures on the bottom row. We were also lucky that he is too young to want all of the stuff that they were selling. I did take some Sesame Street stickers with us and he wore ALL of them on the front of his shirt.
All 3 of us had a great time! It was fun to watch the show but also to watch Tag's reaction.
