Tag had a crazy fun 4th of July weekend. Mommy & Daddy took a little trip and he got to stay with Gran & Pops. From what I hear he got to do A LOT of fun stuff and visit a lot of fun people.
We left him on Friday afternoon. He feel asleep in the car on the way to the airport, so the goodbye wasn't too hard. He got to have a 4th of July picnic with Pogie, Aunt Lea, Uncle Ray, Gran & Pops. No fireworks for him because they come after bedtime.
Then on Saturday he got to go to Stillwater to visit Great Grandad Bill, Aunt Jana, Cousins Shelly, Russell & Karen. I think he had a wonderful time and came home with a new book from his cousins and an OSU football.
Then on Sunday after church he got to go visit Pogie, Aunt Lea & Uncle Ray. Monday, Gran & Pops played hookey from work to play more with Tag. He did get to go to the mall to play on the toys and came home with a bruise on his cheek. A big kid apparently did not want to share the slide with him. Tag also made his way to the National Guard office (at the mall) and a nice guardsman gave him a football. What more could a kid ask for!
Enjoy these pics of Tag over the weekend.
Tag and Maddie both like to look out the big window at Gran & Pops house. Gran said that one night some people walking by waved at Tag and he waved right back to them.
Apparently after they got back from a walk he saw the sprinkler and decided that it looked like a lot of fun.
Mommy & Daddy's flight was late, so Pops walked Tag around the airport.
I know that Tag had a great weekend. He wasn't too sure what to think when he saw us for the first time. I do know that he was tired, he gave in to a 3 hour nap the day we got back. One thing is for sure, he had so much fun! I think Gran & Pops were real sad to see him go!
