Trick or Treat!

We had an action packed Halloween this year and our little ghost had so much fun!

On Thursday evening prior to Halloween we took part in a fun run sponsored by Fleet Feet downtown in the Blue Dome district. Tag got his first taste of trick or treating & by the end of the night all he could say was "candy." Tag's buddy R (the pirate) was there that night as well so that was fun.

Today we went to our churches Trunk or Treat. The weather was beautiful and Tag had a great time. He was especially excited to see his buddy J (the train conductor) and once again he loved getting all of the candy. He also go to ride the ponies, ride the train (3 times) and jump on the bouncy jungle. After collecting one whole bucket of candy, we left and took Tag to trick or treat at Aunt Lea's & Uncle Ray's. Next, we went to trick or treat at Pogie's house and then on to Gran & Pops' house.

Back at home we started passing out candy to the trick or treaters. Tag was so generous and wanted to share candy out of his own bucket. After dinner we took Tag out in our neighborhood. He did so good to say "trick or treat" very clearly at each house. It was quite different for us this year living in a neighborhood where there were a lot of trick or treaters. In years past we had no one come to our door and had never passed out candy before. We left a bowl of candy out when we left, but I'm certain it got emptied quickly... therefore we still have a lot of candy left. The best part was meeting some more of our new neighbors.

It was a happy Halloween indeed! Our little ghost had so much fun and the joy on his face was priceless!
